Where BGF fits
BGF is one of the UK’s largest growth capital investors. In the North East tech scene, it typically comes in at the stage after angel, seed or Series A funding, and announces deals in the region once or twice a year.
North East backing
Over the past decade it has backed North East businesses including Recite Me, SaleCycle, Visualsoft, Ocucon, Geek Talent, Clixifix and Partnerize, which earlier traded as Performance Horizon. Recite Me received a further £4.6m from BGF a couple of years ago to support its growth.
