We aim to be accurate, fair and useful to people doing business in the North East.
Sourcing and credit
We report from primary sources wherever possible: announcements, filings, interviews and public records. When another outlet breaks a story first, we say so and link to them.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help with research and first drafts. Every article is reviewed, fact-checked and edited by a person before it is published, and a person is responsible for everything we publish.
Independence
Sponsored content and partnerships are always clearly labelled. Sponsors have no say over our editorial coverage.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and add a note to the article explaining what changed. To report an error, contact us with the article link and the correction.
