Stockton-on-Tees software business Sapere Software has secured a six-figure investment from UKSE to support its growth plans.

Growing the team

The funding has allowed Sapere to take on two more software developers and push ahead with new products and processes. A three-year plan will see a further six developers join the current seven-strong team.

What it does

Founded in 2007, Sapere builds software that helps businesses improve efficiency and profitability, providing digital tools for their staff and customers.

Director Paul Drake said many businesses are unsure how best to benefit from software and AI. He said the firm’s North East market is particularly strong, but it works across the UK and internationally, and is in discussions with a company that would become a global customer.
